The SGW extension cable will make it much easier for you to connect and disconnect the SGW gate unlocking module to your Jeep. Most FCA vehicle models from the 2018 model year (i.e. manufactured since the second half of 2017) have a Security Gateway (SGW) module that acts as a firewall.
